Graduation Information

March 10th - Jostens’ Senior Product Distribution 

• During seniors’ Government/Econ classes in the Auditorium (students will receive information on graduation expectations along with invitations and/or other graduation products, if ordered from Jostens). 
• Please note the graduates’ Caps and Gowns will be distributed after graduation practice (May 24, 2023) in the Gym.

May 1st -12th - AP Testing

May 19th - Sweetwater and PVOnline Course Completion

• Sweetwater Community School or PVOnline courses, on or off campus, must be completed and passed in order to meet graduation requirements.

May 18-19 - Senior Final Exams

• May 18th - Periods 1, 3 & 6 
• May 19th - Periods 2, 4 & 7 
• Seniors need to attend all classes on both days.

May 22 - 23 - Senior Check-out, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

• Monday, May 22nd Seniors with last names A-K
• Tuesday, May 23rd Seniors with last names L-Z
• (Senior check-out forms will be available outside of the Administration Building before school, 7:00 am - 7:30 am on May 19th.)

April (date to be determined) - Senior Awards Ceremony, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

May 24 - Mandatory Graduation Practice, 8:00 am

• ALL seniors report to the large gym. 
• Doors close at 8:00 am sharp.  Graduates must be at practice before the doors close in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
• After graduation practice, Seniors will pick up their caps and gowns in the gym. 

May 25 - Graduation night!

• Seniors arrive in their caps and gowns at Pinnacle no later than 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm and meet in the large gym. 
• Doors close at 4:00 pm sharp. 
• Graduates must be in the gym before the doors close in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.
• Pinnacle High School will provide one-way transportation to Peoria Sports Complex for all of the graduates so that we will all arrive at the ceremony together and on time.
• Buses will leave promptly at 4:45 pm.  Bus transportation is provided one-way only.  Graduates are expected to leave the Peoria Sports Complex with their families. 
• We suggest that graduates are dropped off at Pinnacle High School as they will be returning with their families after the graduation ceremony.  This will ensure that their vehicles are not locked in the PHS parking lot after the ceremony. 
• “Project Grad” is a free all-night graduation party sponsored by Parents of Pinnacle (POP).  It will be held at Dave & Busters Desert Ridge Marketplace.  The party will begin at 10:00 pm and end at approximately 5:00 am.  This event is “Drug/Alcohol Free”.
